Obituary for Dorothy Elizabeth Bromfield (Bromfield)

Dorothy Elizabeth Bromfield (Bromfield)
Dorothy Elizabeth Bromfield
January 9,1931 to March 22, 2019

Dorothy peacefully passed away at the Montfort hospital on Friday March 22, 2019 at the age of 88 years old.

A wonderful mother to Doreen, Howard, Tony, Donna and Paul. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her children.

Loving and caring to her entire family and to her many extended friends and family in Ottawa and to her sister and brother in Jamaica.

Dorothy will be greatly missed. She worked with many families in the Ottawa area over many decades. She worked for Para Med Health Services for over 25 years as a support worker, helping countless people and their families during their time of need.

A special thank you to the Sedlar & Bullen family for their kindness and great devotion to Dorothy over the past 50 years with many great memories.

Thank you to the Montfort hospital and the Residence St. Louis for their care.

Dorothy was a very strong and independent woman who always worked extremely hard and showed great perseverance throughout her entire life. She was loved by everyone and made friends with everyone that she met in her lifetime. No matter where she went Dorothy always made a friend and reached out to others and showed compassion to all.

She will remain forever in our memories and her brightness will endure in our hearts forever.

God Bless.
